About PageNexter
You won't believe this, but it's all true. I know. I was there.
We were sitting at our desks—thinking, coding, composing emails—when a crash shook the building. Everyone in the Firebrand Techologies office ran out into the parking lot, where smoke was pouring from a crater in... my car! People forget that detail. My car was totaled by a spaceship's escape pod.
The dented pod door creaked, then was kicked open, and out from the wreckage leaped Nexto.
Long story short, he did not have insurance. I'm still paying off that car.
Addressing us with calm confidence, Nexto explained that he came from the planet Sequentia, but he left home searching for adventure. When his ship was hit by space debris and badly damaged, he launched his escape pod.
On Sequentia, Nexto had been a web developer. Somehow, through his extensive exposure to websites, he had developed a special power: he could look over a bunch of URLs by just clicking next! When we learned of his abilities, we knew we had to build: PageNexter!
The PageNexter tool was developed by the team at Firebrand Technologies in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. We have been looking for more ways that we can help publishers be more efficient and tackle the growing list of challenges they are facing in this new environment.
The core functionality in PageNexter was already present in our Eloquence on Alert title performance monitoring tool, so we pulled it out and generalized the functionality for broader use.
